About

Oklahoma Public School’s Largest Provider of Worker’s Compensation

OSAG is the largest provider of workers’ compensation services to Oklahoma public schools.  Four hundred ninety-five school districts are members of OSAG in 2023-2024.

Since 1994, OSAG has saved school districts approximately $109,705,968 in accumulated savings of education dollars!  These savings include over $27,092,033 in refunds of premiums paid & dividends issued, savings in premiums paid compared to outside insurance markets, safety equipment grant awards, equity ownership in both OSAG & CompSource Mutual Insurance Company and the 2024 shared premium credit award.

OSAG is a fully insured program, with each OSAG member owning a piece of the Oklahoma School Assurance Group.  Each OSAG member is charged an individual premium based on individual district performance, and is not punished by unsatisfactory loss ratios of other OSAG members. One premium is charged for one year of coverage, without change. OSAG members enjoy the possibility of annual dividend awards based on claim performance per year.
